Dr. Yan Shi

Dr. Shi earned her PhD in Computer Science and Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology in Beijing.

Dr. Shi's research interests focus on data engineering, software verification, smart fault localization and machine learning. She has published her research in reputable journals and conferences such as IEEE Transaction on Mobile Computing and INFOCOM. She also serves as a peer referee for journals and conferences.

She is a member of ACM, IEEE and ISCA (International Society of Computers and their Applications). She serves as the program chair of the ISCA International Conference on Software Engineering and Data Engineering (SEDE) and on the Board of Directors of ISCA.
