Chenoa J Ruecking

I have worked for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville since 2012 and I manage the credit and non-credit professional development programs for early childhood teachers and children’s program administrators. Prior to working for the university, I worked as a childcare center director and a Montessori preschool teacher. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and my Master of Education at Colorado State University. My husband and I live on a farm near Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, with our three children and lots of farm animals/pets. My new favorite quote is from Marian Wright Edelman, "Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it." This is my guiding mission for working in the field of education.
