Biography

About

Dr. Roopaei earned his PhD degree in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence from Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran, his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Control Systems from Shiraz University in Shiraz, Iran.

Dr. Roopaei worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at San Antonio - Open Cloud Institute before joining UW-Platteville. His research interests include AI-Driven Control Systems, Data-Driven decision making, Machine Learning and Internet of Things, and Immersive Analytics.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE, AIAA and ISA.
