Les Hollingsworth is the Director of the School of Business and an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. His higher education experience includes marketing, student services, curriculum development, and teaching. His research interests primarily focus on organizational efforts and consequences of being responsive to a market. Prior to joining the faculty, Hollingsworth was the marketing director for UW-Platteville's Distance Learning Center. Hollingsworth is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having finished eight years of service that ended with him as a Field Artillery instructor at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.
Outside of his activities at UW-Platteville, Hollingsworth has served as a board member for the Platteville Main Street Program, Platteville Community Fund, and Vice President of Marketing for Platteville Human Powered Trails. Additionally, he owns a consulting agency that advises area businesses on marketing. He also enjoys being outside fishing, hiking, or shredding a trail on his mountain bike.
