Dr. Cyrus Habibi PE

Dr. Habibi earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Prior to joining UW-Platteville, he was an assistant professor for the department of Integrated Engineering at Minnesota State University at Mankato. His primary research interest lies in the field of industrial instrumentation and control, signal processing, and dielectric spectroscopy and sensors. Specifically, he is interested in developing novel medical devices.
Dr. Habibi is an active member of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) and has been involved with research in engineering education. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has years of industrial experiences as an electrical engineer where he offers solutions to local industries for their automation and safety issues.
