Professional Background
I am Nathanial Forrest (or just Forrest). I have worked for UW-Platteville as a full-time instructor since 2015 and have taught multiple courses in criminal justice and forensic investigation. My background is in policing. I have been a police officer since 2012 and I continue to serve communities as an officer. I have worked in rural communities and continue to enjoy that environment. I also served in the US Marine Corps as an infantryman. During my deployment to Iraq in 2007, my platoon worked closely with the Iraqi Police and Military that were rebuilding.
In my free time, I enjoy family activities, music, movies, and being around friends.
