Biography

About

Dr. Saman Cyrus earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer engineering (automatic controls) and three master degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, and Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Prior to his graduate studies at UW-Madison, he took a master degree in Electrical Engineering (controls) from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, located in Tehran, Iran.

Saman’s research includes mathematical optimization, model predictive control, machine learning, and interaction between these areas.
