Biography
About
Dr. Cornett received his PhD in Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry from the University of Kentucky and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from King College in Bristol, TN.
Dr. Cornett supervises the Criminalistics Emphasis in Chemistry majors and mentors undergraduate students in forensic science research on topics ranging from designing new in-field colorimetric tests for controlled substances to advancing professional community knowledge of ignitable liquids. He is active in faculty governance at the Department, College, and University levels and serves as the UW-Platteville faculty representative to UW System.
