Cynthia D Carlson

Cindy, a first generation college student, decided to go to college at age 33 with a goal to have her master's degree by age 40. She received a B.A. from UW-Madison and an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. She is happy to be teaching, because she is much better at it than all the other jobs she tried first.
