Dr. Jorge Camacho

Dr. Camacho earned his PhD in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Dr. Camacho worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher in the Advanced Energy Materials Group, where he synthesized and characterized superconducting and thermoelectric materials. Before joining UW-Platteville as an assistant professor, Dr. Camacho worked as a research assistant on campus conducting experiments in nanotechnology.
