Raja Maunnamalai

Dr. Maunnamalai received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dr. Maunnamalai's research interest lies in the area of preparing reusable catalysts for organic chemistry, isolating and investigating the uses of natural products from native Wisconsin plants, and investigating the interaction of organic molecules with plants. He also is constantly looking for interesting experiments that can be added to the curriculum for enrichment. He serves on a number of Department, College, and University committees and is an advisor to the Alchemist Club.
