Excursions and Activities
The UW-Platteville Exchange program does not include organized excursions and activities, but students can organize independent travel on weekends and over university breaks. In North Queensland, students can organize independent excursions to explore the Great Barrier Reef, the ancient rainforests of Daintree, the white sand beaches of Whitsunday Islands, and much more.

SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES
Australians are well known for their love of sports. At JCU in Townsville, there are a number of sporting clubs affiliated with the JCU Student Association, including: JCU Rugby League and Rugby Union, JCU Snow Sports, JCU Squash, Kiteboarding, Water Polo, Rowing and Rock Climbing Clubs, and a variety of community and social sports and activities.
