New NSF-funded program supports aspiring educators, addresses critical rural teacher shortage

In order to address recruitment and retention of math and science teachers in rural schools, the new HOME Scholarship program will provide eligible junior and senior secondary education majors in math or science with scholarships that cover tuition, room and board, and textbooks.
