UW-Platteville artists set to display work at Halloween show

Written by Todd Richmond on October 26, 2026

UW-Platteville art students are set to display their work at a special Halloween show at the Platteville Business Incubator.

The show is scheduled to run from 6-9 p.m. Friday in the UW-Platteville Art Annex at the incubator at 52 Means Drive, Suite 104, in Platteville. The annex is a new gallery and artist workspace at the incubator building. UW-Platteville students moved into the space earlier this month. The Halloween show will be the first show in the annex.

"This new space gives students the freedom to experiment with exhibition design, host small workshops, and explore commercial installations," UW-Platteville senior art lecturer Scott Steder said. "The Art Annex will primarily be student-run, giving them a sense of ownership over the shows and events they choose to organize.”

Student artists include Kason Bode, Kiley Brooks, Jacob Coates, Michelle Emerson, Johnny Holverson and Hailie White. UW-Platteville art graduate Vivienne Ivanov also will display their work.

Alongside the art, the Halloween show is set to include a costume contest with prizes, T-shirt printing, a photo booth and face painting.

The Platteville Business Incubator is a 26,000-square-foot business support center that serves the tri-state region. The incubator offers below-market rate offices, industrial spaces, business coaching and business startup loans.
