While providing care for infants and toddlers can be challenging at times, it is always rewarding. Keep up to date on the latest developments in the field, and learn from experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Your experiences providing care will be the starting point to build your expertise with Child Care Education.

You’ll benefit from this credential if you are an infant/toddler teacher, teachers’ assistant, program director, or administrator at an early care center, or if you work in one of these settings:
- Child care center
- Family child care home
- Head Start program
- Early intervention program
- Nursery school
To earn your Registry Infant-Toddler Credential, you will need to complete the following three-credit courses:
- Infant-Toddler Development
- Group Care for Infants and Toddlers
- Family and Community Relationships
- Capstone Course: Infant-Toddler Credential

New Students: To register for one of the above courses please apply to UW-Platteville as a special non-degree student.
Continuing Students: To register for one of the above courses please log in to PASS, select your semester/term, select the subject “Early Childhood Education” (ECED), and select your course.
After you are admitted as a special student, you will be able to register for your courses each semester. Please check the academic calendar to keep informed of important deadlines.
