The Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery provides high quality cultural and educational opportunities in the visual arts, free of charge, to the students, faculty, and staff of UW-Platteville, and the people of Platteville and the Southwestern Wisconsin region. On permanent display in the gallery is the Harry Nohr exhibit.

The Nohr Gallery is the central location for art exhibits on campus. Located in the lower level of Ullsvik Hall, on the corner of West Main and South Hickory Streets, the gallery is easily visible and readily accessible to students and the community.

The 5,000-square-foot space enhances the experience in the visual arts. The gallery has three primary access locations including the main entrance accessed through the ground floor on the south side of Ullsvik Hall, a unique architectural staircase that enters into the middle of the gallery, and elevator access which may be reached from the street level entrance on the east side of Ullsvik Hall.

The facility provides students from the campus and community the opportunity to view works of foremost artists and institutions reflecting current trends, traditional art forms, works of diversity, and issues of cultural significance. The large space has 117'7" of display space and is conducive to professional exhibitions and demonstrations whether serving university or regional art needs. The changing exhibitions will appeal to all facets of the Southwest Wisconsin community.
