Learn the techniques and enjoyment of fly fishing from the president of the Fly Fishers of UW-Platteville, Adam Levenhagen. This is an introductory hands-on class,  beginners are welcome and can expect to learn about equipment needed, how to tie knots, and receive casting instructions. For those who took last fall’s “Intro to Fly Fishing”, you can expect to learn advanced casting tactics, fly-tying; and everyone will benefit from understanding good water conservation practices. You will be casting indoors before heading out to Memorial Park to put your new skills to work in Rountree Branch Stream. A valid fishing license, along with a trout stamp, is recommended to get the full spectrum of the course. This class is a continuation from “Introduction to Fly Fishing” that was offered this past Fall.
