Exactly Who They're Meant to Be
How do we fulfill our basic hopes for all children, and overcome the challenges of giving them what they truly need: loving limits and the space to create the path to the people they are meant to be? Our culture and educational systems have really good intentions for children—unfortunately, they can trick us into thinking it’s our job to parent or teach children to be who we think they should be. We can't, and they truly don't need us to! The basic truth is that children need love in the form of our empathy and example, and from that they get the joy, struggle, and thrill of finding their way to the person they will become. You will leave this seminar with hope and practical, realistic skills you can put to use right away with children across all backgrounds and care settings.
