Action Plan Courses

Action Plan courses act as prerequisite courses to other classes you will need to take. You will take what you’ve learned in your first class and apply that knowledge to the next course.

Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel any courses due to low enrollments. If you have completed the registration for a course that has been canceled you will be notified by phone. If online registration and credit card payment was made, you will receive a full refund. In the event of inclement weather, courses may be canceled based on local school closings. Your instructor will schedule any makeup sessions.

Credit Towards Degree Programs

Credits you earn will become part of your permanent record at UW-Platteville but if you intend to use any course in an undergraduate or graduate program at any institution, you will need to obtain prior approval from your advisor.

Disability Accommodations

If you have a disability and would like to request accommodations, please contact us at continuing@uwplatt.edu or 608.342.1314.

Refund Policy

If you cancel your registration before your class begins or withdrawal after your class starts, a refund minus a $15 fee will be given. Notifications must be made during office hours (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) in writing to the Continuing Education Institute at continuing@uwplatt.edu.

Requirements

Admission into a degree program at UW-Platteville is not required to take a teacher education course but you must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution to take graduate level credit courses. A transcript will not be required. You will need to complete the registration form permit to take the course.
