Arts and Entertainment
A cultural hub for the region, UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County offers something for everyone, from performances to events to art exhibits throughout the year.
Off-campus, the popular Concerts on the Square series has featured live performances of blues, jazz, acoustic, big band, and classical music for more than 30 years. From June through August, shows take place every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn in downtown Baraboo.
Brush up on job skills, learn a new hobby, or just have some fun! UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County's Continuing Education Institute offers a variety of enrichment classes. We also offer a variety of opportunities for children of all ages to learn and grow through our youth programs and summer camps and conferences.
Center for Wisconsin Archaeology
The mission of the Center for Wisconsin Archaeology at UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County is to conduct archaeological consulting, as well as assess and preserve archaeological resources in Wisconsin. The CWA provides various outreach programs on Wisconsin archaeology, such as presentations to civic groups, programs for school groups and tours of regional archaeological sites.
Cheer for your favorite Fighting Spirits team! UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County is a member of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference and competes against other colleges and technical schools throughout the state in women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s basketball and men’s and women’s tennis. Health and Fitness
All UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County students have access to the on-campus Lange Center athletic facilities, including the gymnasium and racquetball courts, fitness center, weight room, dance studio and locker rooms. Outdoor tennis courts and a disc golf course are also located on campus.
