The biotechnology industry is rapidly growing and so is the need for specialized skills, training, and development. Whether your experience is based in healthcare, agriculture, or laboratory sciences, the Graduate Certificate in Applied Bioinformatics, offered through the established collaborative MS in Applied Biotechnology Program, is fully online and comprised of four courses (12 credits).

This certificate program is a partnership of UW Extended Campus and UW-Platteville, UW-Green Bay, UW-Madison, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater.

The program will serve as both an in-program learning opportunity and additional credential for MS in Applied Biotechnology degree-seeking students as well as a freestanding certificate program for non-degree seeking students who may or may not elect to continue to the MS degree program.
