World-renowned speaker to engage with students, community

Globally-recognized and renowned keynote speaker, author, leadership educator and executive coach Maya Hu-Chan will be speaking on Tuesday, Dec. 7, from 6-7 p.m. on the topic “Saving Face: How to Preserve Dignity and Build Trust in Global Business.” The topic is based on her newly published book to facilitate future leaders with a global mindset. “This will be a great opportunity for UW-Platteville students to directly hear from and interact with a world-class expert in the field of leadership, global business and cross-culture communication,” said Dr. Leslie Hollingsworth, director of the School of Business, who will also be the moderator of this event. “The topic covers the areas of leadership and global business, which are two general education requirements for all students.”

There will be a 15-minute Q&A session at the end of the speaking engagement. Questions related to leadership, global business or intercultural communication skills can be emailed prior to the event to liany@uwplatt.edu.
