UW-Platteville welcomes Hinderman as new corporate relations coordinator

The UW-Platteville Foundation and Alumni Association announced Wednesday that Megan Hinderman has joined the team as the new corporate relations coordinator.  

Hinderman has worked in higher education for 15 years, focusing on marketing and content development. Most recently, she was the director of Marketing and Communication at Clarke University, where she contributed to admissions and institutional advancement work as well as general event promotion, public relations and crisis communication. Prior to this, she served as a content strategist at UW-Platteville for eight years, first for online programming and then with the university-wide marketing team. Now, she seeks to call on these experiences to strengthen ties between UW-Platteville and the greater community.  

“Growing up in this area, I have a deep appreciation for what UW-Platteville means to the region. The work of the university goes much deeper than individual graduates. It is an economic driver for our region,” Hinderman said. “As the corporate relations coordinator, I seek to work with local and national companies to advance not only UW-Platteville’s work and mission, but to create partnerships that elevate communities as a whole.” 

Hinderman will serve as the primary point of contact for organizations looking to partner with the university on scholarships, sponsorship opportunities and other projects. Among these is the Corporate Engagement Program, a growing initiative that creates clear sponsorship pathways for companies seeking to recruit UW-Platteville graduates and enhance their brand recognition on campus and beyond.
