FFA Career Development Events

The annual University of Wisconsin-Platteville FFA Career Development Events serve as area requirements for teams seeking to qualify for these state events.

- No screening events will be required to participate.
- Participation in these events will be limited on a first-come first-serve basis.

- Farm and Agribusiness Management will be entirely online. No event at Platteville. Click on Farm and Agribusiness Management for more details.
- One team per chapter per CDE (four individuals per team)
- FFA members with dues paid only in qualifying CDEs
- Registration will be through Judging Card. Payments will be made to Judging Card.
- Bus drivers should find off-campus parking such as Walmart, Farm & Fleet, etc. Do not park in faculty lots or handicap designated stalls.
- School vans and cars can park in parking lot 3A on campus.

Ag Technology and Mechanical Systems

Agronomy

To create interest and promote understanding of agronomy through the demonstration of skills and proficiencies.

Dairy Cattle Management and Evaluation

This event is designed to test the participant's understanding of basic economic principles essential in the successful management of a farm business.

Horse Evaluation

To provide a competitive event for agricultural education students, emphasizing skills in horse selection and management.

Junior Dairy
