The annual University of Wisconsin-Platteville FFA Career Development Events serve as area requirements for agricultural mechanics, dairy cattle, floriculture, horses, livestock, milk quality and products, veterinary science, and wildlife teams seeking to qualify for these state events.

Participation guidelines
- No screening events will be required to participate.
- Participation in these events will be limited on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Agricultural Mechanics – 24 teams
- Floriculture – 25 teams
- Meats – 25 teams
- Agricultural Sales – 10 teams
- Milk Quality and Products – 20 teams
- Veterinary Science – 24 teams
- Some Events will have online exams prior to coming to Platteville. Participants must take these exams online. These exams will not serve as a screening activity.
- Horse Evaluation
- Milk Quality and Products Exam
- Poultry Evaluation
- Veterinary Science Exam
- Farm and Agribusiness Management will be entirely online. No event at Platteville. Click on Farm and Agribusiness Management for more details.
- One team per chapter per CDE (four individuals per team)
- FFA members with dues paid only in qualifying CDEs

Parking
- Bus drivers should find off-campus parking such as Walmart, Farm & Fleet, etc. Do not park in faculty lots or handicap designated stalls.
- School vans and cars can park in parking lot 3A on campus.
