Total for graduation - 125 credits
General education - 44-58 credits
Major studies - 81 credits

All students will select an area of concentration from the following disciplines:
Ceramics, Cross-Disciplinary Studio, Painting and Drawing, or Sculpture.
Students must complete the minimum credits in their area of concentration (21 for Drawing and
Painting, Ceramics, and Sculpture: 30 for Cross-Disciplinary Studio) but may take more by
choosing additional studio electives in their area.

Art students to display best works in senior art exhibitions

The best works of four senior Bachelor of Fine Arts candidates at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be featured in individual, weeklong exhibitions, to be held Thursday, April 19-Friday, May 11 at various locations across campus, including the university’s Art Building, Markee Pioneer Student Center and Ottensman Hall.
