THE HARRY NOHR GALLERY
Located on the campus of UW-Platteville in Ullsvik Hall is the Nohr Gallery, which houses a permanent art collection with works by noted artists Luis Jiménez, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Rouault, Chagall, Gauguin, and Motherwell. Named after woodturner Harry Nohr, artwork is on display year round and includes student shows and professional and traveling exhibitions. The exhibitions are determined by the Student Activities Board Art Committee, consisting of a group of students willing to take an active role in the Harry Nohr Gallery. Art majors are given opportunities to display their artwork in the Nohr Gallery, including the annual Senior Art Exhibition in the spring.
THE ART DEPARTMENT GALLERY
Located on the second floor of the Art Building is the Art Department Gallery, which provides regular exhibition opportunities for undergraduate student artwork.
ROUNTREE ART GALLERY
Located in the heart of historic Platteville is the Rountree Art Gallery, a community-run, not-for-profit gallery that features the work of local and regional artists. Art majors are encouraged to exhibit their artwork, sell items in the gallery shop and instruct classes.
