A Definition of RESEARCH
According to the Council on Undergraduate Research, research can be defined as an inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate student that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline.
Why Pursue Research or Creative Endeavors?
By participating in undergraduate research activities, students report they have a greater overall satisfaction with their college experience. Students develop clear career goals, have access to experts in their fields, expand their knowledge base, and have projects to place on resumes or items for portfolios.
