The Innovations in Technology for Teaching and Learning award program provides faculty and teaching academic staff with funds to purchase technology with the potential to improve teaching and learning. All full-time UW-Platteville faculty and teaching academic staff are eligible and invited to submit proposals with a budget up to $5000 (no more than $1,000 can be allocated for stipend or salary).

All proposals are juried and competitive. Sponsored by Information Technology Services (ITS), Teaching and Technology Center (TTC), and the Provost's office, this program targets projects that are innovative, scalable, adaptable, and applicable to teaching in all disciplines. Innovations that are scalable provide solutions to more than one condition: class size, curriculum, discipline, and learning environment. Innovations should also be readily adaptable by others. In addition to funding, recipients will receive appropriate technical support and consultation from ITS and TTC, which may include accessing an array of programs, equipment, and facilities. Faculty receiving the Teaching Using Technology Award will be expected to prepare a written final report in addition to presenting their proposal/work-in-progress and findings at two events jointly sponsored by ITS and TTC.

Please continue to check this page for updates on opportunities to apply for this award at a later date.
