Exploring the Science of Learning - Fall Seminar Series
Come when you can. The Teaching and Technology is facilitating a series of 1-hour interactive seminars that uncover small changes to teaching practice that college professors can make that lead to increased student achievement.
Based on the 2016 James Lang book, "Small Teaching: Everyday lessons from the science of learning" the three seminars will each focus on a different aspect of the teaching/learning process:
- Knowledge - small changes that lead to increased knowledge development [Knowledge Session resources]
- Understanding - small changes to help students connect to prior learning
- Inspiration - small changes to more fully engage and motivate students
No registration is required. Find one of the three times that each seminar is offered and join your colleagues in a rich discussion.
