The goal of the Social and Environmental Justice certificate is to prepare more world-knowledgeable students with the objective of having students demonstrate a substantial understanding of theories of justice as they apply to human experience, particularly as it involves social, political, economic, and environmental issues.

The Social and Environmental Justice certificate (15 credits) requires Introduction to Social and Environmental Justice and elective courses in each of four approved groups. Full requirements can be found in the University Catalog.
