Arts and Entertainment
A cultural hub for the region, UW-Platteville Richland offers something for everyone, from performances to events to art exhibits throughout the year.
The campus-community theater, maintained by the community and sponsored by the UW-Platteville Department of Communication and Theatre Arts, typically produces one play a semester. The production ensemble welcomes both students and community members, allowing you to gain exposure to talented and experienced mentors in the community.
Brush up on job skills, learn a new hobby or just have some fun! UW-Platteville Richland’s Continuing Education Institute offers a variety of enrichment classes. We also offer a variety of opportunities for children of all ages to learn and grow through our youth programs and summer camps and conferences.
UW-Platteville Richland is a member of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference and competes against other colleges and technical schools throughout the state. Visit athletics for more information and schedules.
Health and Fitness
The Symons Recreation Complex, located on UW-Platteville Richland’s campus, is open to the public and features an indoor pool, whirlpool sauna, racquetball courts, and exercise rooms with cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment.
