Summer Storage

What is summer storage?

Believe it or not, the end of the school year is near and soon you will be packing up to leave our residence halls.  Unless, of course, you don't want to move all of your belongings home and would like to take advantage of our summer storage program!  All halls but Cooper LLC will be able to participate in summer storage this year.

Curious about our Summer Storage contracts? Click on your hall's link in the side pane to find out more! You can participate even if you are changing residence halls, so long as your new space is vacated by the time you wish to leave.  Be sure to pay attention to the details in the contract as to your expectations to participate in the program.

What perks will i receive?

One great perk of participating in the summer storage program is the option to leave your loft in your room (if you are returning to your same room) for the summer and it will be there waiting for you in the fall! If you have a wooden loft kit, your University/Rountree portal account will be charged for the 2018-2019 school year and if you rent a BedLoft loft, you will be asked to go to their website to re-rent the loft for the 2018-2019 school year.

Moving out and moving back in next fall will be a breeze! Think about how great it would feel to walk into a room that was already prepared for your arrival - with your own items!

What If I'm not sure about my housing placement?

You may be hesitating because you aren't sure you if you actually will be placed in the room assignment you selected online for next year.   You will be placed in that spot unless there is an extreme circumstance that arises (and we don't expect it will).  Feel free to proceed with summer storage.

When do I have to decide by?

The deadline to complete a contract is Friday, May 4th and the $150 fee will be charged to your University account/Rountree portal account.  If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact your RD!
