Director: Linda Mulroy-Bowden
I am beginning my twenty-seventh year at UW-Platteville as a member of the Central Staff Residence Life team. I obtained my undergraduate degree at UW-Eau Claire in Special Education/ Elementary Education and my masters degree in College Student Personnel from UW-LaCrosse.
In the role as Director, I have the overall responsibility for the management of the residence hall community of 3,700+ students in twelve residence halls. This includes management of fiscal resources, supervision of personnel, programmatic development, administration of room assignments, development and implementation of policies and procedures, and facility management.
Assistant Director: Robin GORE
I am beginning my sixteenth year as part of the Department of Residence Life. I obtained my undergraduate degree at UW-Platteville in Biology/Environmental Science and my masters degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from UW-LaCrosse. Currently I am working on my doctorate degree from Edgewood College in Leadership in Higher Education.
As Assistant Director, I have responsibility for departmental initiatives including Resident Assistant and Senior Assistant staff recruitment, selection, training and personnel paperwork, supervision of 15 student Senior Assistants, departmental issues and diversity education, and start up and overseeing of the Living and Learning and Interest Communities. In addition, I work with and supervise Cooper Living & Learning Center, Rountree Commons, Dobson Hall, McGregor Hall, and Morrow Hall.
Assistant Director: Matt Zielinski
I am beginning my twelfth year as part of the Department of Residence Life. I am a graduate of UW-Platteville with degrees in Education/Special Education, Spanish and Criminal Justice.
My responsibilities include oversight of facility operations for all 13 residential facilities, supervision of facility projects and renovations, coordination of safety and security practices, liaison for Resident Director staff with campus Maintenance and Custodial departments, supervision of the residence hall summer camps and conferences program, supervision of 15 student Senior Assistants, oversight of residence hall front desk operations, professional staff recruitment, and serving as the Administrative Liaison to NRHH. I also work with and supervise 4 of the residence halls: Brockert, Wilgus, Hugunin and Porter.
Assistant Director: Jennifer Artz
I am beginning my twelfth year at UW-Platteville. I am a graduate of UW-Platteville’s Counselor Education graduate program and hold an undergraduate degree from UW-Stevens Point in Psychology.
My responsibilities include working with business operations and technological aspects of the department, coordination of administrative aspects of Living Learning Communities, liaison with UW-Platteville’s Admissions and Recruitment offices, and serving as Administrative Liaison to RHA. I also have supervision responsibilities in Melcher, Pickard, Southwest Halls, and Bridgeway Commons.
