Dr. Karen Stinson, EdD

Dr. Stinson earned her Doctorate in Education, her Master of Arts in Special Education and Administration, and her Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Speech and Spanish from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin-Platteville she worked as a superintendent of schools in Keosauqua, Iowa, a teacher, and a Director of Education at Upper Iowa University. Dr. Stinson has received awards for being an Outstanding Young Women in American, U.S. West Teacher of the Year, and Iowa Distinguished Teaching award.
