Jodi M Moen

Jodi Moen has been working as Associate Counselor for University Counseling Services at UW-Platteville since 2016. A native of southwest Wisconsin, Jodi went on to earn both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from UW-Platteville in Psychology and Counseling Psychology, respectively. She was drawn to the field of counseling after realizing there was an entire discipline dedicated to understanding and alleviating human suffering. She has special interests in multicultural/cultural counseling and supporting students with difficulties feeling understood due to intersecting challenges. It is her belief counseling should be a safe space where students can feel comfortable not only sharing and coping with problems, but also celebrating their strengths and successes.
