Stephanie Klockow is the Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She conducts the Concert Choir and University Singers and is the choral music education specialist, teaching courses in choral music methods and supervising student teachers in choral music education.

Prior to coming to UW-Platteville, Ms. Klockow taught high school choral music and directed musical theatre productions in Wisconsin for 20 years. Her choirs have performed at several music conventions including the Wisconsin Music Educators State Conference twice and the Wisconsin Choral Director State Conference three times. In addition, she has conducted concerts at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity Church and St John the Divine Cathedral, all in New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Education in Music degree from Mount Mary University.

Ms. Klockow has served on the staff of the Wisconsin State Music Association Honor’s Choirs and as a master adjudicator for WSMA. Ms. Klockow remains active as a clinician, church musician, and adjudicator. In 2009 she conducted the high school treble choir for Singing in Wisconsin and in 2012 conducted the Wisconsin All-State Middle School Choir. She currently serves WCDA as the All-State Collegiate Choir Chair.

In addition to her responsibilities at the University of Wisconsin- Platteville, Ms. Klockow is the Artistic Director of the Hartford Community Chorus and Director of Music Ministries at First United Methodist Church, both in Hartford, Wisconsin.
