Professional Background:

Dr. Susan Hansen joined UW-Platteville in 1991. As a professor in Business Administration, she taught International Business and Management courses on campus and at a distance. She has held several administrative positions at UW-Platteville including Assistant Dean, Interim Dean of the College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture, and Director of the School of Business. She currently serves as Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Prior to coming to UW-Platteville, she held the position of controller for a number of businesses in Kansas City. She also held management positions in the manufacturing sector for several years in central Kansas and west Texas.

On campus, Hansen works to develop international exchange opportunities for business students, serves on several college and university committees, and the Project Management Program's steering committee. Her research interests include the role of culture in international business practices.
