what is a passport funds account?
A Passport Funds account is a prepaid debit account available using your Pioneer Passport. It can be used for purchases at Dining Services operations, the Information Center, and the University Bookstore.
Passport funds are active for faculty and staff the entire year when UW-Platteville facilities are open. Students enrolled in classes or employed during summer or winterim can choose to have access to their funds as well.

how do i deposit money into my account?
Payroll deduction options are available for faculty and staff.
Funds can also be deposited at any time by going to the Pioneer Passport office in the Markee Pioneer Student Center by using cash, check, or credit card. Students can charge Passport Funds to their university PeopleSoft account through the tenth week of the semester. Deposits can also be made online through e-Accounts.
When a staff member leaves employment at UW-Platteville or when a student graduates from UW-Platteville, clients may apply for a refund of any remaining Passport Funds. Refunds may be made for balances over $20.00 if all other charges due to the university are paid in full. Refunds will not be issued for a remaining balance less than $20.00.
