David Leo has accumulated over a decade of experience working in higher education, including serving as a Student Engagement and SafeZone Coordinator at Arizona State University, Instructional Services Manager for Bridgepoint Education, and Graduate Project Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
His expertise includes evaluation and best practices in online education, instructional strategies for the online classroom and working with various online learning management systems. In addition, Leo has taught online courses for six years in both education and psychology.
Leo has also served as a consultant for the last nine years for issues facing students who identify as LGBTQ in the classroom.
Currently, serving in the Distance Learning Center at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, he manages the development and delivery of online courses and the course development team.
Leo enjoys historic home restoration, gardening, antiquing, coffee and writing.
