In the past five years, UW-Platteville has invested heavily in instructional spaces. Today, the campus features 174 technology-enhanced classrooms, laboratories, and collaborative spaces. The standard technology-enhanced classroom equipment includes a desktop computer, projector, control panel, document camera, Blu-ray, closed captioning, and assistive listening system and speakers.
Due to rapidly changing technology and increasing demand, it has become challenging to ensure the sustainability of classroom technology. To continue providing state-of-the-art classroom technology, the campus created an Instructional Space Committee to develop a data-driven plan and a funding proposal which will facilitate the continued replacement and enhancement of classroom equipment.
Use this page as a guide to the technology enhanced classrooms on campus. Each room listed will show images of the room and list the different sources available. If you have any questions on preparing materials for use in a technology enhanced classroom, or operation of the classroom equipment, please contact ITS Help Desk at 608.342.1400.
