Students are at the heart of UW-Platteville, and as the fall 2021 semester begins, you’ll find support and fun events that will ensure your success in your second year.

We’re here for you

UW-Platteville faculty and staff are working to make sure that you will find all the resources you’ll need to be on campus again. We've created opportunities for you to connect to campus, meet students and faculty, and experience our favorite traditions. There's even a new Peer Mentor Program just for you.

Academic Coaching

Concerned about the transition from online to in-person learning? Looking for a professional to guide your learning habits and help you do your best work in the classroom? An academic coach is available for you. Connect with your coach as often as you need, and you’ll quickly develop academic skills and confidence. Peer Mentor Program

Designed specifically for returning second-year students, a peer mentor works with a small group of students to provide support and encourage connections at the university. Making connections with peers is vital for supporting student’s emotional and physical well-being and promoting academic success. Peer Tutoring

Want to work with another student who has already been successful in a class that challenges you? Want to refine your skills or supplement your in-class learning? Connect with a peer tutor for one-on-one help or small group drop-in sessions. Find help in your class through the Navigate student app. Learn more about Peer Tutoring.
