METU On-Site Staff
The Middle East Technical Studies (METU) International Cooperations Office (ICO) guides students on-site with questions and issues about life at METU and life in the dormitories. ICO advises students on matters of safety, health, and student life both on and off campus. They also help students arrange on-campus housing.
The ICO will coordinate the orientation program for arriving students, including information relating to classes, transportation around the city, and campus life. During orientation, ICO also coordinates excursions around the city and to historical points of interest within Ankara.
As exchange students’ primary on-site contacts, students studying abroad at METU through UW-Platteville Education Abroad are encouraged to contact the METU International Cooperations Office staff with any matters once in-country. Until then, students are encouraged to direct any inquires to the UW-Platteville Education Abroad staff.
