Student Research in Criminal Justice

The course of study for a Criminal Justice Major provides an in-depth understanding of the Criminal Justice System. Student may select one of 2 areas of emphasis. The Law Enforcement emphasis provides students with a concentration of courses focusing on the role of law enforcement in a democratic society. The Corrections Emphasis provides specialized courses for those intereseted in community based corrections, correctional institutions, or juvenile justice.

All majors are encouraged to consider minors in related areas (e.g. Foreign Language, Political Science, Business Administration, or Computer Science). Students who major in Criminal Justice may minor in Forensic Investigation.
