Campus Climate Book Club

Platteville Rooms, Markee Pioneer Student Center

The Office of Campus Climate is hosting a campus-wide book club this semester. The goal of this book club is to bring students, faculty, and staff together to discuss the text, “Race Talk and the Conspiracy of Silence: Understanding and Facilitating Difficult Dialogues on Race” by Derald Wing Sue. Our hope is that this text helps challenges members of the campus community to think critically about the way that they engage in conversations about race. A longer description of the text will also be placed below.

A free copy of the book will be offered to those who sign up to participate in the book club at /diversity/campus-climate-book-club-fall-2017. Details regarding book distribution will be sent via email to those who sign up.
