System's down. What's up?
Effective September 30, 2017, the weekly ITS maintenance message will be a thing of the past.
In response to customer feedback, we are eliminating the weekly maintenance message from our regular communications plan. Unplanned outages and special updates will be communicated as needed.
So how can I find out if a system is down?
The ITS scheduled maintenance window will remain at 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday evenings. Detailed outage information will continue to be posted for your convenience in the following places:
- ITS Knowledge Base News at kb.uwplatt.edu, which also appears on the
- Help Desk home page at uwplatt.edu/helpdesk
- ITS Help Desk Facebook page (Like us!)
- System landing pages as appropriate (PASS, BI, etc.)
Scheduled outage events do appear on the campus Maintenance Calendar, but for specific outage details, please refer to one of the sources above. Those of you who would still like to receive regular updates may subscribe to the ITS Knowledge Base News RSS feed.
