Serving those who serve

UW-Platteville has a proud tradition of serving active duty personnel, military veterans, and their families, and Distance Education has allowed these men and women to pursue their education no matter where the call of duty takes them. Nearly 40% of our students come from a military background and we understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with serving our country. Several students volunteered photos and stories from their tours of duty as part of our Veteran’s Day celebration, which will extend throughout the month of November on Facebook and Twitter. We thank these and all our military students for their service, and commend them for their dedication to education.
