The University of Wisconsin-Platteville ranked number five on the Online Schools Center's list of the 30 Most Technologically Savvy Online Schools.

The list highlights the top online schools that offer the discerning distance learner the finest education using the most progressive technology. UW-Platteville’s combination of Desire2Learn learning management system, PASS student information system, and Atomic Learning resource system delivers a powerful learning experience that is both flexible and convenient. Earlier this year, University Business magazine selected the school as one of its eight “Models of Efficiency” in the U.S., which recognizes innovative approaches for streamlining higher education operations through technology and business process improvements.

“We recognize that students have many options in online institutions from which to choose. We combine the latest technology with quality, reputable programs to meet the needs of students who are oftentimes juggling their courses along with work and family commitments,” said Dawn Drake, executive director of UW-Platteville’s Distance Learning Center. “It’s vital they have the latest technology at their fingertips.”
