PLATTEVILLE-Each semester the University of Wisconsin-Platteville announces senior students who have been selected for the Super Senior/Honorary Life Membership Award.

Peterson received unanimous approval for his nomination for this award by members of the civil and environmental engineering department. He is described by his nominator as "a student who takes on much more than is expected or required of him." This is evident through his on-campus leadership roles.

While a student, Peterson was a resident assistant for Hugunin Hall, was president of one of the largest on-campus organizations, the American Society of \Civil Engineers and was a student representative promoting UWP on college recruitment trips to various high schools. Through his involvement in various campus organizations, he also had the opportunity to work with several community service agencies including Family Advocates and the American Red Cross.

Described as a well-rounded student with exceptional professionalism, Peterson truly has excelled in his leadership roles while being committed to benefiting the team.
