Faculty artwork exhibit opening reception

Faculty Artwork Exhibit

The artwork of seven University of Wisconsin-Platteville art faculty and instructional staff members is on display at the UW-Platteville Art Faculty Exhibition through Friday, April 8, in the Harry and Laura Nohr Gallery, Ullsvik Hall.

Exhibition hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m; Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Today, there will be an opening reception held in the Nohr Gallery from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to everyone.

The exhibition includes a variety of artworks, from painting to fiber to ceramics.

Featured artists include Carole Spelić, senior art lecturer; Bruce Howdle, senior art lecturer; Richard Moninski, distinguished lecturer of art; Gregory Nelson, associate art professor; Daniel O'Brien, art lecturer; Diane Sterba, art lecturer; and Steve Vance, art professor.
