UW-Platteville E-mail Account
Instructors will communicate with you through e-mail. It is extremely important that you check your UW-Platteville e-mail account on a daily basis.
The Desire2Learn course management system, often known as D2L, is used to deliver learning resources to students, including syllabi, course content and other documents, and multimedia content. Students also use Desire2Learn to submit assignments, take tests and quizzes, and collaborate with instructors and classmates.
Instructors of the MSE/English Education program usually use D2L for course management. Given that each course meets for 11 days only for face-to-face instruction, an instructor normally posts the syllabus, readings, assignments, and other course requirements electronically in Desire2Learn prior to the on-site instruction. Assignments, papers or projects, which are not completed during the on-site portion of a course, are usually required to be submitted via Desire2Learn afterwards for deadlines.
South Central University for Nationalities (SCUN) will issue you a student ID card free of charge. You will need to apply to the library at SCUN for a separate ID card which must have your picture attached to it. This library ID card will allow you to check out books and research materials and use computers in the library free of charge.
